Hello guys. Just thought today to share my thougths about the long distance love... something which a lot of people/gay men face. You are tourist.. or he.. you meet.. sparks, beautiful emotions, memories, avdentures... and OPS... u realize you are in the trap of love. Soon he have to leave, you you have to leave... there is that empty feeling, like it's the end of the world... if the love is one sided, for sure, better you/he will make it thru this one day... but if the love is mutual... then be ready to face the nasty reality called "Long distance love"...Im not going to tell my story by security reasons, i lived thru... its personal. But im gonna tell you, there is always a way to be with the man you love. The bad is, that you are going to get to know him when you LIVE with him, and THEN you realize if he is the right guy for you... AT my case my hopes failed. I lost a lot to find out that my ex is cheat...
I personally do believe that 2 people can be together. No matter how, when... the hard moment is thast the one have to give up everything he built to be with the man he love. Yes thats the nasty reality. But when 2 people are together they will build together a life, of their dreams. yes it's too beautiful to be true i agree. But certainly this exist...
I hate when a lot of men find the excuse saying "But we are far away"... hello, we are 21st century. One plane ride for one day is nothing compared with the love you are going to experience... better say the truth :" I don't want just one man, so f** off" instead find this colorful excuse, which works...
My advice is, if you LOVE someone, and the feeling is mutual, go for your dreams. The world is small. Going to move and "give up everything" is not really a loss. But do it wisely. "Give up everything" is not the literally meaning, you can everytime gain what you had, if things doesn't work. But if things work, then the things you gave up, you gave up for a better reason. No risk no gain...
My experience i will say didn't work. Do i regret.. NO... Would i do it again?? HELL YEA! Why?? because it taught me to be the man iam today. I do not regret for ANYTHING done in my life, right or wrong. If i never found it, i will die knowing i tried, better than iam dying asking "What IF?
Long distance love/relationship are hard. But not impossible to move further. if a man always find the excuse "But we are far away" just leave it, because this means, he doesn't see far than his nose. His mind cannot be wide beyond the horizons. he is scared, and believe, that everything is failure. he is insecure.
The destiny love dare men. Myself i would want a man who doesnt regret anything he have up, and doesn't count the footsteps he leave behind. As i heard in a Bulgarian song:
"Cowards die everyday... true men die once in lifetime":)
Love, Slavi
You are so right. I know of two long distance relationships that have gone on between NYC and Europe for 5 years now..it is not easy for them but the love keeps them going. And two men can love when both learn how to let the love have precedence over the penis!
